Heute mal wieder IT Hilfe geleistet. Scanner funktionierte nicht mit dem neu installieren Linux Mint, aber auch nicht mit Windows 11 auf einem anderen Rechner.

Auf Linux Mint XSane installiert, gestartet, geht.

Auf Windows 11 hat sich der Canon TS6350a geweigert über WLAN dem Scanner zu finden. Neue Treiber & Co. half leider nicht. Erst mit USB Kabel hat Windows 11 den Scanner gefunden.

Windows sucks.

To get ancient scanner working with my M4 MacBook Air:
brew install sane-backends
install NAPS2.app (signed binary! 😱 )

Can't do Preview > File > Import from Scanner, but NAPS2 appears to work just fine.
