Il suo preparatore atletico per il ruolo di Sandokan, Edoardo Novelli, a proposito della sua forma fisica aveva raccontato al Messaggero: “È arrivato con una base di atletica importante, era seguito da un personal trainer e il suo fisico lo dimostra. Se non lavori per davvero, quel fisico non ti viene. A livello percettivo era una spugna, gli spiegavi una cosa e la rifaceva uguale”.

Stiamo parlando di Can Yaman che, reduce dal Festival di Sanremo, dopo è stato co-conduttore, ha voluto rispondere sui social a chi lo taccia di usare scorciatoie per mantenersi in forma: “Quale è il segreto del fisico di Can Yaman? Usa delle bombette, fa delle siringhe, perché è ricco, intanto ha gambe allenate male, comunque è esagerato, mica si sveglia alle 6 di mattino va al cantiere a lavorare, non ha un segreto è solo fortunato, ci sono molto migliori di lui, bla bla bla”: ha scritto facendo riferimento ai tanti commenti dei leoni da tastiera. Poi, diretto, ha concluso: “Commenti dei brutti mezzi ometti invidiosi“.
Ma quale dieta ha seguito Yaman per prepararsi proprio per il remake della popolare serie in onda su RaiUno? Pesava circa novanta chili e doveva “scendere a 85-86, però rimanendo energico, scattante, agile. Allora mi sono ho detto ‘Va bene, in questo mese mi levo il pensiero e arrivo subito al peso ideale, poi mi concentrerò sul resto’. Quindi per 30 giorni praticamente non ho mangiato. Facevo un digiuno intermittente: 16 ore senza mangiare, poi 8 ore in cui mangiavo. Ma in quelle otto ore mangiavo solo cose molto noiose, tipo tofu e legumi”.

His athletic trainer for the role of Sandokan, Edoardo Novelli, regarding his physical fitness, told the Messaggero: “He arrived with a significant athletic base, he was followed by a personal trainer, and his physique proves it. If you don’t work hard enough, that physique won’t come to you. Perceptually, he was a sponge; I would explain something to him and he repeated it exactly the same way.”

We are talking about Can Yaman, who, after being co-host at the Sanremo Festival, responded on social media to those who accused him of using shortcuts to stay in shape: “What’s the secret of Can Yaman’s physique? He uses injections, he does intravenous drips, because he’s rich, he has badly trained legs anyway, it’s exaggerated, he doesn’t wake up at 6 am to go to the construction site to work, he has no secret, he’s just lucky, there are many better than him, bla bla bla”: he wrote, referring to the many comments from keyboard lions. Then, directly, he concluded: “Comments of nasty, envious omissions.”
But what diet did Yaman follow to prepare himself specifically for the remake of the popular series airing on RaiUno? He weighed around ninety kilograms and had to “drop to 85-86, while remaining energetic, quick, agile. So I told myself, ‘Okay, in this month I’ll get rid of my worries and reach the ideal weight immediately, then I’ll focus on the rest.’ So for 30 days I basically didn’t eat. I did intermittent fasting: 16 hours without eating, then 8 hours in which I ate. But in those eight hours I only ate very boring things, like tofu and legumes.”
