US and European sanctions are a weapon of economic war that kill around 500,000 people every year. They impact the poor and enrich the rich, who receive bribes to find ways to evade them to move goods around. They're a favourite of the US, who imposed them on at least 39 countries whose policies they didn't find advantageous. They deprive sick people of essential medicines. They kill slowly.
They're inhumane (also, they're illegal)
