Beautiful waning days of fall on Little Cranberry Lake today.

The Columbine is Colorado's state flower. Selected in 1899 by Colorado schoolchildren, it is illegal to uproot on public land. Most often found between 8,000-12,000 feet, its spurs makes it more likely to be pollinated by long-tongued insects like hawkmoths.
