He said the chili was good but spicier than other versions, which wasn't a problem, except that he thought it included green chilies, which he's not a fan of. Lunch yesterday was at #AuntCassCafe at #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure . I had the chicken pot pie soup, which I liked, but I wish there had been more chicken. I think previously, the chicken was in cubes, but this one just had little pieces of chicken. Also, it had a crispy fried egg roll wrapper on top, which was tasty, but I totally don't get the reasoning for including it. An egg roll wrapper has nothing to do with chicken pot pie nor Aunt Cass, for that matter. 🤷 #SanFranSokyoSquare 1/2
I also finally tried the potstickers that I've been hearing about - crispy vegetable and chicken potstickers with a ginger dipping sauce. The filling was very flavorful, and the dipping sauce was really good. I enjoyed the ramen, though it was saltier than normal ramen, so while I usually finish the ramen broth, I did not in this case. The broth was also spicy, which I did not expect, but I enjoyed it. I thought it was a good dish, but not one I'd order again. 2/3

Lunch today was at #LuckyFortuneCookery . I finally had a chance to try the beef birria ramen - ramen noodles with consome, served with house-made birria, soft boiled egg, Monterey Jack, cilantro, onions and radish.
Had to dig a bit to find the beef and the egg, and I don't remember encountering any cheese. Look at that perfectly cooked soft boiled egg. Mmmmm. 1/3

Given that some people are allergic to soy, I would think that would be a problem, especially as I presume the plant-based version also includes the not-disclosed tofu.

Dinner tonight was at #AuntCassCafe . I've had the chilled shrimp soba noodle salad before, but the previous version didn't include the tofu cubes. I did still really like this dish. The tofu cubes were previously only included in the plant-based version of the salad.
