Pict. below : Loth about "Guiannuin" (Earrach) meaning "spring" in #brezhoneg

In #gaelic, you have #samhain / #samhuinn (end of summer a priori) but the equivalent "hañvuinn" in brezhoneg (has h:s and ñv:m) does not exist (so far, I do not know).

However, as "gouiañv" (guiam) means winter in bzhg, in old brezhoneg it exists the word Guiannuin meaning Spring, the end of winter then, therefore directly related to samhuinn, at least probably confirming the idea of "the end of". #SperedennAnDeiz

I’m not moving ever again. I’m getting too old for this. I really am. Our new home is everything we’d ever hoped for. Except for the insect hotel under the kitchen window. What a stupidly odd place to put it. “Hello Mr Clipshear, this is your beautifully appointed 5⭐️ bedroom with adjacent and fully stocked kitchen”. Eh, NAW!!! I’ll move it to the very far end of the garden come late winter when everything’s hopefully dormant… 😬

We weren’t able to celebrate #Samhuinn, but today is #fountainpen and #fountainpenink unpacking day. Every cloud and all of that 😁
