Just saw Peckinpah's THE GETAWAY for the first time. A strangely poetic and incredible work of instinctive atmospheric genius that is both thrilling and WTF at the same time. The ribs scene is batshit original. Professional criminals stand no chance against the unpredictable jazz of American life.
