The big shiny new stadium in the Democratic People's Republic of Western Australia is undergoing its first rebrand this week.
Unveiled to much fanfare, a little while after it was supposed to be opened for a rather large game of cricket, the Perth Stadium's naming rights have since been owned by the Telco Optus.
However, that ownership has changed hands, following Sam Kerr's second goal in as many games there.
The hometown hero and Australia's greatest ever footballer scored an absolute stunner in the semi-final of the Asian cup last night, skipping the keeper and perfectly lacing the finish.
The ripper of a goal gave the Tillies back the lead, and booked them a place in the final against South Korea or Japan this Saturday night.
As a result of the historic night in Perth, the stadium has now been renamed to 'Sam Kerr's House.'
"Look, it's absolute no brainer," said Premier Roger Cook.
"Obviously I'm not really supposed to say, but Optus isn't the most universally popular brand in the world."
"And Sam Kerr is."
"So changing the name of the Stadium to Sam Kerr's House is a great fit."
"It's just a shame the Easterners are stealing the final from us."
"As if you'd take it away from the West after the way the last two games have gone."
