More than 23,000 #migrant people have arrived at the #CanaryIslands so far in 2023.

This weekend a #cayuco arrived at El Hierro with 320 people on board. They navigated more than 1,600 km (900 nautical miles) on a 15-20 m wooden boat.

Almost half of those who arrived at the #CanaryIslands in 2023 did it during the month of October, which has not even ended yet.

Many of those rescues were carried out by the 4-people crew of the 21-m long #Salvamar #Adhara. They are exhausted.
