My first batch of #fermented #SourPlums is done & jarred. There's over 300 in this jar. Starting next batch in 2 weeks, with some of my yellow #plums this time. Preserved with simple coarse salt & cane sugar.

Day 1 of making #homemade #preserved #Chinese #SaltedDriedPlum #snacks 🌞 The large tray is brought in at night & put back out an hour after sunrise. Only coarse #salt & #CaneSugar are used; same simple method that our village family overseas has been using for generations.
