Gibt es eigentlich schon den #salamandersunday

Have some #SalamanderSunday content. I could use some help identifying this *tiny* Desmog — like, an inch long, tail included — spotted in a seepage near Mt Pisgah in western North Carolina.

And then special shout out to the person who corrected this sign on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

New Backyard Friend!

Found this little guy under a log just now. Showed him to my daughter and of course she asked if we could keep him. I said no, because we don't have anything to take care of him properly, but she decided to name him "Salad" just in case they ever meet again. (I returned him exactly back where I found him after the photo shoot.) Any idea what species? We're in northern New Jersey.
