I recently finished watching the Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin anime and it's a good adaptation of an amazing game. I prefer the game it was based on, but it's nice to visit that world again.

@apc #animangafoundit For a hidden gem, I'm going for something that crosses over both anime and gaming. Sakuna: Of Rice And Ruin was a game that never hit big numbers, but it really resonated with those who played it. Being a huge fan of the game, there was no way I would miss the anime, and to all intents and purposes PA Works did a grand job. Great character models, a faithfull story adaptation, and the original Japanese voice cast reprising their roles.

Thought I'd see how Sakuna runs on the Switch 2 whilst the BOTW upgrade pack downloaded, and I'm hooked again. Played through one whole in-game year, and man that game still pushes ALL of my buttons.
Performance is definitely improved, BTW, mainly in FPS rate in the 3D rice farming sections

I don't have a lot of space, but this Hime Sakuna figure was in the Amiami sale and I wanted a decent scale of my favourite spoilt videogame princess. Sue me. I'll FIND space for her.
