Picked up this bottle of #Sake at HMart in CA
Went well with the sushi dinner - a touch on the sweet side. (Picked this Dassai over the Sugei Tobetsu 'Drunken Whale’ bottle at same price). Didn't realize Dassai is brewing in the US, in NY now.

Soto means “outside.” Though brewed in Japan, it seems intended for markets outside Japan, though I may be wrong.
Many sake drinkers like to see the prefecture where the sake is brewed listed on the label. But not there, so I looked it up: it’s from Niigata, Japan. A nice sake (osake)🍶
