Not sure I posted this here: a pretty long listen, but I did an episode of the Maniculum podcast where I sat down and talked to the hosts, Zoe and Mac, about the great medieval Georgian epic the Knight in Panther Skin with a view towards re-using and understanding it anew as inspiration for modern fantasy/TTRPGs.

Another new face at the IFI, Tinatin Khomeriki joins us as a postdoctoral researcher: she is also an assistant professor at the Free University of Tbilisi.

As another member of our Caucasus Studies research group, Tina will contribute to the Circulating Knowledge in the Caucasus project, examining the production, dissemination, and exchange of knowledge in Georgia amid political tensions. Her research interests include urban anthropology, knowledge production, (in)security, (mis)trust, and suspicion.
