Lucia of Syracuse (c. 283 – 304 AD), also called #SaintLucia (#Latin: Sancta Lucia) and better known as Saint Lucy, was a #Roman #ChristianMartyr who died during the #DiocletianicPersecution. She is venerated as a saint in #Catholic, #Anglican, #Lutheran, #EasternOrthodox and #OrientalOrthodox Christianity. She is one of eight women (including #theVirginMary) explicitly commemorated by Catholics in the #CanonOfTheMass. Her traditional feast day, known in Europe as #SaintLucysDay.

December 13, in addition to being #Lucia / #SaintLucysDay, is day 19 of my #MTGSecretLair #MagicTheGathering #30thAnniversary Countdown Kit-opening.

I'd started a day later and aimed for opening my last card on Christmas Day, rather than Christmas Eve, I would have gotten the visually appropriate Sun Titan for Lucia.

Instead, from 2011, I got this creepy Birthing Pod. Powerful card, and one I've actually played in #MTGCommander in the past. I'll surely pair it with Muldrotha in the future!
