Yesterday at the Sailfish Community meeting Jolla could tell that they are targeting to release Sailfish OS 5.1 next week, and that Bluetooth support for Android App Support (AAS) will be released as a beta more or less the same time.

I want only share with you the about 50 running patches that I currently activated on my Sony Xperia 10iiwith SFOS 4.6. Maybe this will inspire some people? Jolla has just published a newsletter: Sailfish Community News, 19th March 2026.
Two smaller updates are on the way now as 5.0.0.76 is out: Enabling Bluetooth for AppSupport and Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) protocol update to 16.1.
Sailfish 5.1 is still on track to be rolled out during the spring, hopefully during April. So something to look forward to for the community!

@matcher123 In the long term, alternatives such as /e/os/ and Sailfish OS, and perhaps even Graphen OS, are probably the best choice. This is especially true if hardware manufacturers support them; manufacturers such as Fairphone or Jolla are sufficient.
