If you are looking for a fun hobby (if you are into metrics), #Safecast is having a sale on their measurement kits. I'm tempted to upgrade my Geiger counter to the new fancy design, though I have too much going on at the moment. Working with the Safecast team gave me evidence-based peace of mind to move back to Japan after 3/11. I then had fun collecting background radiation data, including in the Fukushima exclusion zone, not too far from family.
I think this photo really has a big PR potential 😀
