I popped into the bike shop on my way out, to get the gearing adjusted. It was skipping 8th and would 7th into 9th, and then you had to step it down a gear to get 8th. The chain was also jumping of the front/rear if you tried to change into the higher gears quickly.

But another 16 miles ridden today, strong headwind coming home again. Feels like I've done 25 miles.

I wanted to introduce my son, Owain, of whom I am astonishingly proud. Before the summer he had ridden less than a year and the longest distance was around 100km non stop. By the end of our trip this summer he had covered more than 17000km in 7 weeks, including riding the Dempster highway and a #SaddleSore 1600 (we covered 1700km in 22 hours) on his gsx-250r. That, my friends, takes guts. He is 18. #motorcycle #son #gsx #brave

I made it to Niwbwrch, only to the nearest edge... But made it all the same.

Been building up to that for a week or so. Always trust some one with a little lazy streak to find the most convenient route.

Google maps claimed 11 miles. Pffftt, 8.5 miles Google doesn't know jack shit.

17m round trip. Next time, venture into the woods towards the sea.
