I just remembered that one of my earliest experiences playing music (other than following the instuctions of a teacher) was manipulating the arpeggiator on some Casio basically-a-toy keyboard 😁 it had like 2-3 standard patterns but I found that I could make interesting things happen with tiny changes to the timing of my key presses 🎶 Good times & pro'lly part of why I'm still fascinated by synthesizers ☺️
