Picked up a bit more of the salmon than we could have yesterday 👆🏽 - remainder was put to good use for a quick #lunch (with a bit of sushi rice from last night)
Kid1 helped with prep and plating so a little extra fancy just for kicks

Kid wanted only salmon, nothing else, chirashi style for a special dinner. Sliced and zuke/marinaded them about 20 mins 3:1:1 soy (2 kinds), mirin, sake + a touch of dashi. No miso soup, no salad but acquiesed to side of cucumber and ume that she loves. Gave the kids a little extra. (Partner and I also had takuan)
