In other news, I went and looked at the water at New Brighton then drove down into Capitola and found parking (yes, in Capitola) and went out and caught some waves on my paddleboard. Some much needed waves, definitely my first of the year and it feels like a long time.
My only regret about paddleboarding and surfing is when I don't do it and that I started late.

Saw this SUP surfer at N Berwick yesterday, he was good, althougth he did fall in a few times, he also managed to catch the waves and surf on his paddleboard, which must require a great deal of core strength. #SUPsurfing #NorthBerwick

Going out on the water with low expectations is a great way to end up having a good time. Low wind and fog kept the crowds at bay and long interval sets provided some good rides for those of us who did get out! #surfing #supsurfing #sup

A pic of me in my happy place although the waves are a bit bigger in my mind, these are little rollers but still fun to ride! Just watch for rocks getting off (not this time but a few weeks later I shinned a rock pretty good, yes, that means what it sounds like, I banged my shin into a submerged rock hard enough to split my shin open). #SUP #Surfing #SUPSurfing
