#Day110 of #365HappyDays : finished up #today at Fort Augustus. We’ve paddled 28 miles over the past three days, and called it done as planned at the start of Loch Ness. They’ve done well, my two novices, and they’ve both had lots of fun.
We all felt a sense of accomplishment at the end of it. We set out to do something challenging and we did it. A good reason to be #happy.

We covered just over 16 miles #today. That’s 7 more than yesterday, but the #wind was very much in our favour this afternoon. Another lovely day on the #water of the #CaledonianCanal. We are #WildCamping again tonight alongside the lock. Tomorrow we’ll be done.
#Day108 of #100HappyDays : not a bad day for a #SUP. Wild camping tonight on Loch Lochy and a #pinemartin came scouting out our camp! Tried to get a photo but it’s rubbish, so here’s one from the water today instead.

#Day102 of #365HappyDays : new kit. I’ve wanted one of these for about 18 months and have been squirrelling money away until I could justify buying it. This is the #MSR Guardian Gravity Purifier. It removes viruses, bacteria, protozoa, sediment and microplastics from #water making it safe to drink.
It arrived today, meaning when I’m surviving on Loch water next week I won’t actually die.
