I'd not he surprised if firefighters would adopt a PALS/MOLLE-compatible harness system in my area if not order it as a requirement on future Nomex Jackets to enable a higher degree of versatility, flexibility and reduce the need for solid baskets as well as allow easier carriage of more on-person tools besides the safety belt with hatchet on.
I've to see if it has a #STANAG because those not only are #metric but also means royality-free access to the specs...

Sadly 9x39 never caught on and in terms of subsonic pistol-caliber PDWs I'd rather want something like an AR-9 in .45 ACP or 9x18mm Makarov with an integral supressor.
Sadly there ain't Semi-Auto versions of the Stechkin APB, cuz that would basically fit the bill, if it had a slide lock like the XM9 "Hush Puppy" and a #STANAG-4694 rail.
.50 Beowulf would be a good stopping round tho and 6,5mm is a good compromise to workaround bs laws that ban AR-15 pistols, PSM & FiveSeven.
