The taxi picks me up at the hotel in Łódź, Poland, and so it begins…. 3 airborne metal tubes and another taxi later I should arrive back home in Vermont…. about 22 hours from now!

It’s been an excellent week at the Trusted Internet Summer School for Internet Governance and International Law (#SSIGIL ) talking about using LEO satellites for Internet access. Great people, fascinating research. I’ve learned a lot! (Including how to pronounce Łódź!😃)

On my way to Łódź, Poland, to participate in the “Trusted Internet Summer School on Internet Governance and International Law: Satellite Internet” (aka “SSIGIL”). I will be giving the opening keynote on Wednesday morning and engaging in the discussions all week around how Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites (ex. Starlink, OneWeb, Amazon Project Kuiper) can bring Internet access to more people. I am looking forward to it!
