The Local Organizing Committee just sent an email to all attendees to warn us that coffee and lunch breaks will take place outside, and that it'll be hot, so we should dress comfortably —there will be no dress code.
I wonder if I could walk there in bermudas and beach slippers.
I'm joking, obviously, but I've seen the weather forecast for Barcelona next week and it doesn't seem to be worse than here, although lunch might be a bit uncomfortable given the highs around 30°C. Humidity is forecast about 10% higher than here though.
A heads-up for anyone interested in #SPH #SmoothedParticleHydrodynamics: the #SPHERIC2025 abstract submission deadline has been moved to January 20.

It will be the first #SPHERIC #conference to break from the "classic" SPHERIC International Workshop format that was also employed for the SPHERIC 2022 I organized in Catania, and closer to other more traditional conferences (hence also the change in name, to SPHERIC World Conference).
