L'Unità: Il terrorismo israeliano non fa notizia, ecco perché
Ieri i giornali hanno dato grande spazio, in prima pagina, alla notizia che un signore, di cui adesso mi sfugge il nome, ha dimostrato di essere il figlio adottivo di Raffaella Carrà. Quasi tutti l’hanno valutata come la seconda notizia del giorno, dopo la guerra di Trump.
Nessun giornale (tranne il “manifesto” con un piccolo richiamo) ha trattato in prima pagina la notizia che i soldati israeliani in Cisgiordania si sono resi responsabili di una spietata azione terroristica: hanno sparato raffiche di mitra contro un’automobile nella quale viaggiava, per tornare a casa dopo una visita ai parenti, una famiglia costituita da padre, madre e quattro bambini. I terroristi dell’Idf hanno ucciso il papà e la mamma e due dei quattro fratellini. Gli altri due li hanno feriti e poi trascinati sulla loro Gip. Il più grandicello, 11 anni, lo hanno interrogato, dopo avergli detto che avevano “ucciso dei cani” (cioè i suoi genitori e fratelli) intimandogli di confessare: con chi stavano viaggiando su quell’auto? Lui ha risposto: con la mia famiglia. Loro gli hanno gridato: bugiardo!. Poi l’hanno riempito di botte. Senza volere esagerare possiamo dire tranquillamente che l’esercito israeliano, in questa occasione, si è dimostrato spietato e terrorista più o meno come i terroristi di Hamas il 7 ottobre.
Tutti i giornali conoscevano questa notizia, che in mattinata era stata diffusa con un bellissimo articolo sul “Corriere della Sera” online e che era stata trattata nell’editoriale del quotidiano israeliano “Haaretz”. Nessun giornale l’ha ritenuta meritevole della prima pagina. Con quale criterio? Per una valutazione giornalistica? Certamente no, se valutata dal punto di vista dell’interesse giornalistico era certamente una notizia da prima pagina.
Se non è stata valutata degna della prima (e per molti giornali non è stata ritenuta nemmeno meritevole di una pagina interna) questo dipende esclusivamente dalle pressioni ricevute. Da chi? Non saprei, non credo però che le pressioni siano venute dall’ambasciata francese, o da quella spagnola o argentina. Se sono venute da qualche altra ambasciata straniera, come io credo, provate con la vostra fantasia a immaginare da quale ambasciata.

Yesterday the newspapers gave great space, on the front page, to the news that a gentleman, whose name now escapes me, had proven to be the adopted son of Raffaella Carrà. Almost everyone considered it the second news item of the day, after the Trump war.
No newspaper (except “manifesto” with a small mention) treated the news that Israeli soldiers in the West Bank had been responsible for a ruthless terrorist action – they fired bursts from machine guns at a car traveling to return home after a visit to relatives, a family consisting of a father, mother, and four children – in the first page. The terrorists of the IDF killed the father and mother and two of the four little brothers. The other two injured them and then dragged them to their checkpoint. The oldest one, 11 years old, interrogated him, after telling him that they had “killed dogs” (that is, his parents and brothers) demanding he confess: with whom were they traveling in that car? He replied: with my family. They shouted at him: liar! Then they beat him. Without exaggerating, we can calmly say that the Israeli army, on this occasion, proved to be ruthless and terrorist more or less like the terrorists of Hamas on October 7th.
All the newspapers knew this news, which had been disseminated in the morning with a beautiful article on the “Corriere della Sera” online and had been treated in the editorial of the Israeli newspaper “Haaretz.” No newspaper considered it worthy of the front page. With what criteria? For a journalistic evaluation? Certainly not, if evaluated from a journalistic point of view it was certainly a news item worthy of the front page.
If it was not considered worthy of the first page (and for many newspapers it was not even considered worthy of an internal page) this depends exclusively on the pressures received. From whom? I don't know, I don’t think they came from the French embassy, or the Spanish one or the Argentinian one. If they came from some other foreign embassy, as I believe, try your imagination to figure out from which embassy.
