As of 11 a.m., maluwag ang daloy ng trapiko sa Commonwealth Avenue sa Quezon City ilang oras bago ang State of the Nation Address o SONA ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
As expected, the President did not tackle basic mobility needs. So far, 3/6 SONAs have centered on roads, bridges, expressways, rails, and airports and seaports; absolutely nothing on the day to day needs of ordinary Filipinos.
For #SONA2024, the President should declare a crisis in mobility - admit the severity of the problem, direct his officials to get their act together, and ask Congress to allocate sufficient funds and prioritize key legislation.
