Can anybody point me toward research suggesting that “non-threatening” two wheeled vehicles are filtered out by the mollusc part of our brain as the image proceeds from the driver’s eye? #smidsy
@korsier @eedly @fschaap ahh #SMIDSY …So. Many. Times… latest was in Calgary over Summer. The driver was even looking at me as they moved. Fortunately I was looking at them too…

@CTD ah the good old #SMIDSY. Been in exactly that position and ended up on my arse in the road (fortunately very little harm to me or the bike, but a big scratch on his brand new car 😀). Didn't look round his "A" pillar more like.
