“Cheveldayoff's actions have undermined the legislative reporting system's integrity and the advanced education minister's refusal to answer questions is "deeply unethical and dangerously undemocratic."

He should be forced to resign. A disgrace.

While it is frustrating to see the familiar Federal/Provincial schism in the praries with local NDP leaders balking at climate policies, I can understand it. The Oil & Gas industry rules the roost here, and there's a calculated effort to prevent spooking potential voters that they're working so hard to win over.

And so, Carla Beck's out here Pre-empting Moe's predictably lazy attempt to convince Saskatchewan voters that he's running against Avi Lewis instead of her.

But yaknow....

Every progressive policy is an idealistic pipe dream until you smash the system holding you back. Let's get smashing.

@avilewis

And Beck's position is 100% parroting the #fossilFuel industry and will ensure that the "realities faced by workers in Saskatchewan" will remain for years to come.

"Beck states in the letter that the position is “ideological and unrealistic,” saying that Lewis's position ignores the realities faced by workers in Saskatchewan and across Canada, and puts jobs at risk."

@action_jay The noise will be about jobs,

but when Kenney passed a $4B Tax cut for jobs, the oil industry cut 3,452 oil sands workers jobs.

& CEO’ “ enjoying an average annual pay raise of $2.35 million”.

The tax cuts fund automation, “automation may result in 46,108 job losses in the Canadian upstream oil and gas sector by 2040.”

The right wing will work hard to blame this on NDP, Climate Action, The Feds … but remain absolutely silent on corporate profit.

Danielle Smith, Scott Moe, Doug Ford, and Pierre Poilievre are conclusive evidence that the Notwithstanding Clause needs to be abolished. None of them have any respect for basic human rights and all have demonstrated a willingness to use the #NotwithstandingClause to trample on #HumanRights

The only way to protect #Canadians is to remove the clause from the #Constitution of #Canada
