Here's the first of a new glitch art series I'm calling 'Modern Girls.' These edits focus on shots of actresses, models, singers, and socialites from the roaring 20s era who were a part of - or adjacent to - the rebellious "flappers" subculture.

The original image here was a shot from the American silent romantic drama film, Singed Wings (1922) and features Bebe Daniels dancing while dressed as a moth.

Daniels starred in a staggering 230 films over a 50-year career, gaining fame in America for her work in musicals such as Rio Rita (1929) before becoming a big name in the UK for her work in television and radio.

Anyway, I'm happy with how this one turned out, even if the resolution is a bit on the tiny side.
