Devastation on the summit
The summit of Mount #Olsberg has already been ‘cleared up’ following #Hurricane #Kyrill (January 2007), but its effects are still visible.
In the centre of the picture, you can see the #summit #cross and the mountain hut, which were spared by the hurricane.

Heute wieder mal eine Wanderung mit dem SGV Balve, diesmal auf den Wegen vom "Altes Testament" nahe Altenhellefeld.

Na sowas, die Siemens Vectron Dual Mode kommt in ein paar Jahren mit einem großen Akkupack statt des Dieselgenerators, um oberleitungsfreie Streckenteile zu überbrücken bei sehr ähnlichen Leistungsdaten. Und dank Stromabnehmer braucht es keine Tankfahrten mehr. Erstkunde wird F-AKIEM sein.
Die Vectron Dual Mode von Siemens Mobility wird es künftig auch mit einem großen Akkupack geben. 2 Megawattstunden Kapazität sollen der E-Lok Reichweite bieten, wenn es mal keine Oberleitung bringt – anstatt des sonst verbauten Dieselgenerators, wie beim ICE L.
