We're proud to have been a part of #NoKings, which is now the largest single-day protest in American history. We helped people make protest signs thanks to Cliff's Variety, handed out our new voter guide zine, and talked with countless people eager to vote and defend democracy. The energy was extraordinary!

Not April Fool: okay, I think that clinches my vote for Chakrabarti over Chan unless there are major surprises. You can't be mealy-mouthed on enabling a genocidal regime. (Of course, Wiener is much worse on this issue, and I will vote for Chan in the general if it's those two who advance.)

8 of 11 supervisors support Prop D, the Overpaid CEO Tax. That's as close to consensus as we get in SF. Even moderates recognize taxing the biggest corporations, when they just got Trump tax cuts, is preferable to painful cuts to public services.
Dorsey, Mandelman, Mayor Lurie, and Scott Wiener really stand out here as out of touch with their districts and the city.
