I want to point out that if you bike the east span, you can take the Treasure Island Ferry or #SFMuni #25. I've done both and they both work fine.
I don't realistically expect this to get built before I'm too old to ride it, but you never know.
It seems like the biggest beneficiaries would be TI/YB residents.

St Louis had a substantial system. After all, the "Clang Clang Clang went the Trolley" song is from Meet Me in St Louis!
Also, one of the biggest and longest lived streetcar building companies (they *almost* survived into the modern light rail era, but also not quite) was the St Louis Car company, who tested a lot of cars intended for other cities on the local system, which must have been fun to see.
Their last big production run were PCC cars (like on the #SFMuni F-Line). I think most of the surviving PCC's are theirs.

Mostly I like to post pictures that came out well. This one I'd like to do over again. Mostly I should have just aimed lower. But it's interesting, too. The streetcar at the bottom is warped. This is something that is kind of expected with the Brownie's simple lens. But interesting/odd that it's asymmetrical--that crane on the top of the image is pretty straight. Or maybe the distortion is only in the very marginal areas?
One thing I'm happy with is that I used the "SunCalc.org" app to pick the perfect time to come out and take this when the sun would be a good angle.
I'm in the area pretty often, I'll have another go at this next week.
