In which Benry the dog went on his regular morning walk *and* walked to the library with me to use the color printer *and* had to wait while I had a long chat with our friend Jon while we watched the Bocce guys play at the park. He is now too tired to exist. #SFLyfe
Reason number 8,527 why living in a city is the absolute best: there was no reason to panic when I discovered that the milk had spoiled overnight after I put the kettle on for my morning coffee. I grabbed my keys and walked literally around the corner—didn’t even have to cross the street—to the bodega for a fresh half gallon and got back before the water was boiling.
Sometimes, it’s the small things.
I can’t recommend highly enough the cathartic joy that comes from chanting about something you believe in with thousands of like-minded neighbors. #UESF #CommunitySolidarity #SFLyfe

I don’t normally ride on Tuesdays, but I hopped on a 39 Tiny Bus (tm) in the middle of the dog walk and after the other passenger got off, enjoyed my limo up Telegraph Hill. #SFLyfe
