Saw Peter Gabriel last night, my first show at the Chase Center in San Francisco!
This was my third Gabriel show since the mid-90s, and though he’s slowing down, the backing band makes up for it. The final several minutes of the show, with the audience singing Biko to a stage empty except for drums, has been in my head all day, a reminder of anti-racist solidarity politics in these dark times.
