So, it's the 20th anniversary of one of my favourite SEGA arcade racers, Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast.
To celebrate, here's my first ever version of the game for OG Xbox.
I've also just realised something. In the game Turbo Outrun, the player's car is clearly meant to be based... 1/2
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg.
A 3D platforming adventure where a young boy employs the powers of a suit to defeat an evil king who plans to rule the world with everlasting night.
It seemed kind of appropriate for Easter! đ đ
In his 8-bit outing, a young dolphin named Ecco goes on a maritime adventure to rejoin his pod after an... unnatural weather phenomenon separated them.
SEGA Worldwide Soccer '97.
I have a confession to make:
I'm not really a football fan.
But... there are certain football games out there, usually made by SEGA or Nintendo, that will either have a wacky gimmick to them, or a certain charm.
This game, for me, falls into the later category.
Yes, I much prefer games like Mario Strikers, or SEGA Soccer Slam. But I don't mind playing an exhibition match in this game at all.
Burning Rangers.
Something of a rarity, this firefighting game from Sonic Team sees you as a member of an elite force of firefighters who must enter dangerous situations & rescue the victims.
SEGA Manx TT SuperBike.
A console conversion of an arcade game that celebrates The Isle of Man TT race.
Easy to get into, but tough to win, this game features fast graphics, catchy tunes & can even be played with the 3D Saturn controller.
Kung Fu Kid.
An 8 - bit martial arts adventure for SEGA's Master System, in which a young man must utilise his skills to protect his village from the forces of the evil Madanda.
Last Bronx.
One of SEGA's alternatives to the Virtua Fighter series, this game introduced a darker tone & weapons into the fighting mix.
Something I personally like about the game is the "anime" styling the game has, especially in the cutscenes.
Floofy Shark presents a double helping of dragon shaped shoot 'em up action this #SEGASaturday / #Saturnday, with Panzer Dragoon 1 & 2.
3D action adventures as you ride your dragon through waves of airborne enemies.
What does it all mean?
Can you survive?
