@ocean @eniko I was a Sega kid. Will always be a Sega kid. Even though I also adore the other 16-bit consoles.

I was almost an NEC or Nintendo kid.

12 year old me saved every penny of lawn mowing and snow shoveling money to buy myself a console in 1992 ("upgrading" from a 2600).

After hemming and hawing, reading everything I could from EGM and GamePro, and the newspaper, and such, I got my Genesis (that I still have) over the TG-16 and SNES.
