NickT6630Started the first 8 bars of a new cover track I featuring my #SC126 #Z180 8 bit computer running my own sequencer application and song data format. The #MIDI interface and some of the synths I have in my setup now but no mixer or sound system yet.

Exact 676 solder points later the #SC113 backplane as expansion for the #SC126 is fully populated. Next project is the small IO Card for another possible blinkenlight. But I'm afraid I don't have all the ics for it in the moment.

The little #CPM #workstation is finished. My evening work consisted of packing it in a nice case and starting the backplane soldering. But there are still plenty of soldering points left, I'll have to do that tomorrow as well.

So, at least I've been able to address one of the two outstanding issues today. Tomorrow I'll be back at the museum to see if I can convince the move-it software to transfer a file using an old 486 and a real serial port.

Making my first experiences with FDISK80 and FAT command for talking to the normal partition behind the slices area of the SD-Card. Have to look up how to create a kind of autoexec.bat to handle the different ASSIGNs for best usage.
And btw the #SC126 resists all attempts to double the clock speed of the cpu to ~36MHz :(

Configuration of the #SC126 overclocking (*2) failed with CPUSPDCAP + CPUSPDDEF. But made my first own #RomWBW.

After waiting a few days to get all parts the #SC126 with #RC2014 bus is running out of the box. Has to remember the DCD0 jumper, without RomWBW does not start to prompt. Next steps are the addition of SD-card for filesystem and look for a source how to "overdrive" the processor ;)

Because of the all in one design I decided to build another #RC2014 hardware. I choose a #SC126 mainboard, which I ordered yesterday. The support for it's onboard hardware seems to be more complete in #RomWBW. And with a case it will be a nice 'full workstation'
