Zum #FotoMontag zeige ich hier ein weiteres Foto aus meiner kleinen #Angekuppelt Serie. 2025 fuhr die Rostocker S-Bahn längere Zeit wegen Bauarbeiten nur halbstündlich, dafür aber in Doppeltraktion. Hier ist einer der beiden Triebwagen derjenige mit der historischen Sonderlackierung zum 50. Jubiläum 2024. Da dieser tatsächlich nur zur Hälfte anders lackiert ist, hatte ich zudem noch Glück, dass diese Hälfte innen war und sich so zwei verschiedenfarbige Triebköpfe gegenüberstanden. Die Lackierung von 1982 war in Meerblau und Birkengrau mit ockerbraunem Dach und war den Farben von Meer, Land und Strand ­nachempfunden. Zwei weitere Fotos zeigen den Zug und einen Ausschnitt mit dem Jubiläumslogo.

For #PhotoMonday, I'm showing another photo from my little #Coupled series. In 2025, due to construction work, the Rostock S-Bahn only ran every half hour for a long time, but with double traction. One of the two railcars is the one with the historic special paint job for the 50th anniversary in 2024. Since only half of it is painted differently, I was also lucky that this half was on the inside, so that two different-colored railcars were facing each other. The 1982 paint scheme was sea blue and birch gray with an ochre brown roof, inspired by the colors of the sea, land, and beach. Two more photos show the train and a detail with the anniversary logo.

Wenn die Bauarbeiten bei der Rostocker S-Bahn tatsächlich heute abgeschlossen werden, wird ab morgen endlich wieder im normalen Takt gefahren. Allerdings wird es dann auch vorbei sein mit dem überwiegenden Fahren in #Doppeltraktion und Motive wie dieses wird es wohl nur noch selten geben. Die monatelange Chance habe ich allerdings wenig genutzt – bei Fahrten im Halbstundentakt waren mir die Wartezeiten dann doch einfach zu lang. So bleibt es bei dem verhalten schauenden Mann mit der Jacke im passenden Rot als bisher bestem Foto. So richtig zufrieden bin ich damit nicht. 🤨 Und beim Blick auf die Neigung des Sattels wird es geradezu schmerzhaft.. 🥴

Anscheinend haben es mir zusammengekuppelte Triebköpfe angetan. Hier gab es jetzt schon mindestens drei zu sehen. Von Berliner S und U-Bahn habe ich auch schon was da. Das könnte vielleicht eine kleine Serie werden. #angekuppelt

If construction work on the Rostock S-Bahn is indeed completed today, trains will finally be running at their normal frequency again starting tomorrow. However, this will also mark the end of predominantly double-traction trains, and scenes like this will probably become a rare sight. However, I didn't make much use of the opportunity that lasted for months—with trains running every half hour, the waiting times were simply too long for me. So the best photo I have so far is the one of the man with the jacket in matching red looking rather subdued. I'm not really satisfied with it. 🤨 And when I look at the angle of the saddle, it's downright painful... 🥴

Apparently, I'm fond of coupled power cars. There have been at least three to see here already. I also have some from the Berlin S-Bahn and U-Bahn. This could perhaps become a small series. #coupled
