🇳🇱 Following concussion protocol, the Dutchman was substituted after suffering the injury during the second half of Sunday’s game against Sunderland.

🇳🇱 ⚽️ It’s been a while since I’ve seen a striking performance like Brian Brobbey’s for Sunderland yesterday.
💪🏻 Absolutely bullied the Newcastle defence from the off, occupying four of them for most of the game.
🤷🏽‍♂️ #NUFC didn’t know how to handle him — Botman was probably relieved when he had to go off, and Thiaw didn’t fare much better.
🫡 Thoroughly deserved his derby winner…it been coming since half-time.

Newcastle ran out of ideas and energy after they went ahead early on.
Sunderland deserved the win with a brilliant away display, shorn of multiple key payers.
