In his own mind he's the master strategist, so he'll be thinking going public now serves some purpose...

I'll leave you to wonder what his purpose might be, but let me say this; it will be nothing good... or 'public spirited'!

For those who remember the constitutional pressure group #Charter88 (full disclosure - I worked for them fr a couple of years in the early 1990s), here's a contemporary campaign with a similar set of aims for us to get behind.... time for change is upon us (not the sort of change #RushiSunak conducted this morning, of course!)

I've just noticed that the #Tories seem able to summon up £500m to stage the currently homeless #CommonweathGames..... one quick shake of the money tree, then, and suddenly money has become available.

Well, who'd have thought the prudent #RushiSunak would have that in his back pocket

#UK left the #EU, to "take back control” of their #immigration, legislate their own laws and spend more money for the #NHS.

#RushiSunak just made a deal with #Macron. UK would be giving money to France to stop immigrants going across the channel. On top of that #SuellaBraverman wants to bring legislation which "might be" incompatible with the convention of human rights.

This is why #RushiSunak was picking a fight and prolonging the strikes - so they could use the old and tried scare tactic.
