This weekend I completed (entirely unintentionally!) a #Parkrun challenge. Groundhog Day is running exactly the same time, at the same Parkrun, on two consecutive weeks.

A lovely sunny #parkrun this morning at Longrun Meadow.

Decided not to think about pace at all but pick someone who usually finishes around me and focus on beating them. The result? I did beat them and did my fastest time of 2025. #RunningIsFunning

Thrilled to finally be allowed to wear my #parkrun limited edition Brooks shoes as I met a training target (self imposed) today.

They saw me round my second 4.5 mile run of the day. I do love a split run. #RunningIsFunning

Fab to push over a Parkrun distance this afternoon.

It was my first run over 5K in six months and hopefully the first step in the long training plan for my next event … 🤔

A #Parkrun first for me … doing an inaugural event at Greendale Farm Shop Parkrun.

Brutal course with the slippiest mud I’ve ever experienced and a long hill near the end. But fab surrounds (including mini zoo) and farm shop and cafe. I’ll be back…just maybe in the summer 😉 #ParkrunUK #RunningIsFunning
