The Run of the TumorRunner
Am 12. April ist mein erster Halbmarathon nach dem Tumor. Zeit für ein neues Laufshirt, denn ich bin der #TumorRunner.Well that's came to a end in somewhat a crappy ending. I didn't know that there was a pace limit to the run, so they had to keep it above 8km/h to make the cut as they ran a km a day extra for 83 days in a row. Merlin (@wizarofrun over on IG) got hit by a truck yesterday, well his 50kg trailer did, he is ok. So he had to faff around with getting it fixed, transported to a campground etc while running 82km. This from what I understand made him not make the Hardecore Harry cut off time/pace. Tim (@Timk_endurance) set out to do 83km today not knowing. Still what an ultra run for all.

L'entraînement, ça paie et c'est assez fou ! 🤩
Mon premier 30km en course à pied (32,5km pour être précise) s'est passé "comme sur des roulettes" hier sur la piste cyclable de la forêt de Compiègne, avec un final splendide au château de #Pierrefonds 🏰
Elle restera la plus longue sortie de ma préparation et désormais le marathon paraît un objectif atteignable 😱
Les jambes sont là, le moral aussi, on y croit !
(Niveau ampoules par contre ça pourrait être mieux ainsi que sur l'alimentation 😵💫)
Décharge progressive jusqu'au marathon de Paris le 12 avril ⏱️

Monday-running-club-day 🔥
Today was long-interval-day. We did 3x10 minutes at HM pace with 2 minute breaks in between. The last one immediately followed by a 2-minute 10k pace and 1-minute 5k pace.
Feels good to be able to maintain a reasonable pace for a longer period. Wasn't able to do a long run the past 2 weeks due to family obligations so the legs and the mind really needed some exercise.
