The patch handed players trillions of runes, the exploit spread faster than Jagex could contain, and devs had to perform a full server rollback. Absolutely WILD 😅

This whole fiasco is exactly why I'm glad that RuneScape has done such a solid 180 in the right direction, because it seems to me that modern MMOs just simply cannot make it.

Either they flop, get canned, lose momentum or aren't even really an MMO in the first place.

Meanwhile, my first MMO is taking game integrity seriously and adding loads of new content.

The future is in the past.
