Went to the beach by myself today. It was quite busy, in spite of being a work/school day. Mind you, there were a lot of beach house tourists as well as actual beach users. Took some photos that I might use for a painting or drawing.

All of the beach houses, boxes whatever, are well maintained here, & brightly painted. There’s a few marine/beach themed ones, some rainbow ones, random colour combos, & a few blue & yellow ones. Whether that’s a connection to blue sky & yellow sand, Ukrainian solidarity or both, I’m not sure. Either way I like it. One reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream from my childhood.

If you zoom right into the centre of the shot of the water, you’ll see the You Yangs across the bay. (Three very small mountains.)
