Mir ist gerade ein Problem, nicht mit der schottischen Unabhängigkeit, sondern mit der dann absehbaren Ausrufung der Republik, aufgefallen.

Es gibt die Royal Bank of Scotland, die Banknoten ausgibt.
Wenn Schottland kein Königreich mehr ist, können die nicht einfach ihren Namen in Bank of Scotland ändern. Die Bank of Scotland gibt’s schon. Die geben auch Banknoten aus.
Vielleicht “Bank of Scotland, est. 1727”?
