Almost at the halfway point! And what better way to celebrate that than by departing out of the gateway to Mount Everest for a Turbo Baron hop over into the Assam region for an evening stop at the local Indian Airforce Base?

Lukla is legit a challenge to land in and out of, visual approaches/departures only and short field takeoff performance is an absolute must

Worth it once you get clear of terrain though, Nepal is absolutely gorgeous <3

Today's flight took me out of Jaisalmer, The Golden City, in the western state of Rajasthan, in the middle of the Thar Desert - all the way over to Dehradun, in the Doon Valleys in Uttarakhand!

Naturally being in the Himalayan foothills, you're guaranteed an interesting approach, in my case it was being vectored in for a visual RW26 landing
