Notre première visite écossaise est pour la Rosslyn Chapel, devenue célèbre grâce à Dan Brown et Da Vinci Code. Elle remonte au 15e siècle et Sir William St Clair, troisième et dernier prince des Orcades (1396-1484) en est le fondateur.
Nous gagnons ensuite notre hôtel à Édimbourg.

Today didn't go quite to plan thanks to the Scottish summer. It was far too wet to go roaming round gardens, so we ended up at Rosslyn Chapel instead. I love this building, unfortunately photography is not allowed inside the building which is a real pity since the carvings are superb. Still a "working" chapel, I imagine a service within would be peaceful, like most places of worship there is a wonderful feeling of calm within it.
Despite the rain, its been another fabulous adventure, even if I was cheated with the cheese scone at the chapel!
