#WinterSoCosy2026 Day 26: Alarm

The first Monday of every month the public warning sirens are tested at noon. When this happens and I'm around, I share a Minions "bee-do" GIF in our Discord. For giggles. It's become a bit of a thing, and I don't think I'll stop now.

Anyway, this seemed like the perfect thing to illustrate. You can almost hear the "BEE-DO, BEE-DO" when you look at it. 😂

As a teen I had a cheap lava lamp with clear liquid and red "lava" in it. I have always been fascinated by lava lamps, and I still am. Hopefully one day I'll have a genuine Mathmos one. An Astro, or maybe a Telstar rocket one. Until then, I will create fun retro illustrations like this one.

I recently went hunting on my Sakura Bay island in #ACNH. Hopper asked to leave. And he had been on the island since 2021. So it was time for a change. On my 9th ticket I came across Bones, a dog villager. And I asked him to come live on Sakura Bay!

The Roost is one of my favourite cafes. I decided to draw Brewster and part of his cafe. I opted to include the cabinet, but not the stuff directly behind him, as it would mostly be hidden behind him anyway. The coffee bean bags are also not accurate, but I like em like this.
