The look of bored disinterestedness on #RosemaryBarton’s face as Anita Anand discusses measures by the government to send checks and slash the GST for Canadians, is extremely unpleasant to look at. It’s time for #RosemaryBartonLive to take a dive. #EnoughIsEnough with her condescension and snark.

I’ve tried, I’ve really tried to tune in to #RosemaryBartonLive and view her show with an objective mind. But her attitude, questions, the look she gives those whom she’s questioning, the snark that’s always lurking around her no matter the subject, she just rubs me the wrong way. @CBC you are not endearing yourselves to listeners, nor positioning yourselves as superb political commentators. It may be time to retire her & introduce some new blood that’s not quite so jaded & arrogant.

As though she were deliberately baiting her guests. Not impressive for a Canadian political journalist, currently serving as chief political correspondent for CBC.

#RosemaryBartonLive seems to be endorsing govt by popular opinion. The pros and cons of any issue are secondary to how we “feel” about them. Take children’s rights, for instance. How some Cdns feel about it is irrelevant. What the Charter states are the facts we should be discussing. My opinion has no weight when it comes to children’s rights. Children are entitled to their rights just as Rosemary is entitled to hers. But sure, let’s have a poll on whether children have rights.

#RosemaryBartonLive questioning the carbon tax with Minister Fraser says “….since your government has ….” I believe the govt is our govt, Rosemary, not theirs. And the snarkiness shown in speaking to him together with the little eye rolls and head shakes and looking down while the minister speaks is quite frankly, insulting to all of us. This #LackOfRespect only highlights how arrogant Rosemary has become in her interactions with govt officials. #EnoughIsEnough

How can anyone watch #RosemaryBartonLive? Perhaps in the day, way back when, there was a time her show was considered brilliant and an incisive look at issues. Today, quite honestly, her lack of objectivity is shameful. Breaking news stories she highlights today are often based on misinformed, misleading and often slanderous opinions of #PierrePoilievre and the #Cons or provincial premiers who believe themselves to be running their own country.
